Hidden away in the back streets of Fulham, the Harwood offers award-winning food and wine in a casual and relaxed setting. We champion the very best British produce with a focus on game and wild food. We are also currently the only Michelin-starred pub in London.
The Harwood was built in about 1840 as a pub, but our story starts in 2008, with the collaboration of Brett Graham (The Ledbury), Mike Robinson (The Pot Kiln), and Edwin Vaux (The Vaux Brewery).
Alex began his career working under Mark Wilkinson at Latymer. He then worked for 3 years at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons before taking the head chef role at Texture. From 2011, Alex worked under Brett at the Ledbury before taking the reigns at the Harwood in April 2014.

Provenance is key to our success at the Harwood, and we have developed relationships with the best suppliers to keep consistency of quality.
We offer a set-priced menu for lunch and dinner, priced at £35.50 for two course and £42.50 for three courses.
From Tuesday to Friday at Lunchtime (excluding December), we also offer our daily starter, main course and dessert from our blackboard, priced at two courses for £22.50 and three courses for £27.50.
On Saturday the 28th of May we will be hosting the next in the series of our seasonal tasting menu evenings to celebrate all that is Spring with a 6 course Chef's Spring Tasting Menu focusing on the finest produce only available at this time of year.
Our wine list has over 200 bins, and the idea is to offer a bit of everything at a fair price. The list has won Imbibe’s Pub Fine Wine List of the Year (2011), and we recently won Harper’s Best Pub drinks Offer of the Year (2014).
Our rooftop vegetable garden is used as much as possible in summer, growing a variety of heritage tomatoes, beans, courgettes, and leaves which are used in many of the dishes where possible.
Christmas Closures - We will be closed for dinner on Saturday the 24th of December until lunch on Tuesday the 27th of December when we will reopen as normal inckuding New Years Eve and New Years Day.
