Hidden away in the back streets of Fulham, the Harwood offers award-winning food and wine in a casual and relaxed setting. We champion the very best British produce with a focus on game and wild food. We are also currently the only Michelin-starred pub in London.
The Harwood was built in about 1840 as a pub, but our story starts in 2008, with the collaboration of Brett Graham (The Ledbury), Mike Robinson (The Pot Kiln), and Edwin Vaux (The Vaux Brewery).
Alex began his career working under Mark Wilkinson at Latymer. He then worked for 3 years at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons before taking the head chef role at Texture. From 2011, Alex worked under Brett at the Ledbury before taking the reigns at the Harwood in April 2014.

Provenence is key to our success at the Harwood, and we have developed relationships with the best suppliers to keep consistency of quality. All our game is wild and sourced from estates in Berkshire. Our fish is line-caught in Cornwall by day boats. Our beef is supplied by a small co-operative of farmers in the Lake District, and our pork is supplied by small independant farmers such as Paddock Farm and Huntsham Court Farm.
Our wine list has over 200 bins, and the idea is to offer a bit of everything at a fair price. The list has won Imbibe’s Pub Fine Wine List of the Year (2011), and we recently won Harper’s Best Pub drinks Offer of the Year (2014).
Our rooftop vegetable garden is used as much as possible in summer, growing a variety of heritage tomatoes, beans, courgettes, and leaves which are used in many of the dishes where possible.
Pub: Monday 5.30pm-11pm, Tuesday-Thursday & Sunday 12pm-11pm, Friday & Saturday 12pm-12am
Lunch: Monday Closed, Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-3pm, Sunday 12pm-4pm
Dinner: Monday-Saturday 6.15pm-9.30pm, Sunday 7pm-9pm
Christmas Opening Times: We will be open for lunch on Monday throughout December. We will be closed on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th December, and 1st January 2015.

Our cancellation policy for tables of 2 - 8 people is 24 hours notice. If tables are cancelled within the 24 hours we may charge a cancellation fee of £20 per person.
